C. Melisa Guerra, RDH, BSDH is a clinical dental hygienist in Kenmore, Washington. She received her Associates of Arts and Science in Dental Hygiene from Shoreline Community College in Seattle and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Washington.
Melisa is employed full-time in an office limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Her scope of practice includes block and infiltration anesthesia and the utilization of advanced alternative non-surgical periodontal therapy methods.
She is an active member of her local and state dental hygiene association, and served as 2004-2005 President for her local association. She speaks nation-wide with the Seattle Study Club’s Contemporary Periodontal Management Series, a program committed to advancing skills and knowledge for dental hygienist as periodontal therapist.
She serves on the Dental Hygiene Regulations and Practice Committee, the Advisory Committee for Shoreline Community College Dental Hygiene Program and Seattle Central Community College Technical Advisory Committee, assisting in the development of a new dental hygiene program at the college. She is also a Dental Hygiene Educator for Orapharma, the makers of Arestin.
